Trust at Tenura

Your property information deserves careful handling.

Tenura is pre-launch. This page separates what is available today from the product experience being built, and records the decisions that must be settled before any production mailbox access is released.

Design principles

Control should be visible, not assumed.

“Read-only” is one boundary, not the whole trust story. Useful controls also need to cover relevance, source inspection, correction, disconnection and deletion.

Read-only by design

Production connections are intended not to request permission to send, edit or delete email. Exact provider scopes will be published before release.

Minimise before analysing

Tenura is being designed to narrow information by likely property relevance and retain only what is needed for the service.

Sources remain inspectable

Important dates, amounts and conclusions should retain a clear route back to the email or document that supports them.

The landlord verifies

Detected and inferred information should be reviewable, correctable and rejectable before it becomes trusted portfolio data.

What exists today

Clear status, before access.

The public walkthrough uses fictional property records. It does not connect Gmail, Outlook or any other mailbox.

Access and minimisation

Start with the level of access you are comfortable with.

Planned ways to build a portfolio include a read-only mailbox connection, a selected date range or folders, forwarded property email, chosen document uploads, a mailbox archive and a manual start. None is available through this public website today.

Disconnect and deletion

These controls are intended for early access. Exact deletion timing, retained audit information and behaviour after disconnection still require a documented product and legal decision.

People inside property records

Tenant and third-party information needs restraint.

Property correspondence may include personal information about tenants, guarantors, contractors, advisers and other people. Tenura is being designed to minimise unnecessary personal information and retain only what is needed for the service.

AI processing

The production AI providers, content-retention terms, training restrictions, subprocessors, transfer safeguards and data residency have not yet been announced. They will be published before customer property data is processed.

Security and infrastructure

Publish evidence before promises.

Account isolation, encryption design, incident response, penetration testing, security certifications, data residency and production infrastructure will be documented when the architecture is approved. Tenura does not currently make “bank-grade”, “military-grade” or absolute privacy claims.

Security or privacy questions can be sent to [email protected]. Please do not email property documents or sensitive personal information.

Questions before early access

Direct answers. No invented assurances.

Does Tenura read my whole inbox?

No production mailbox integration is available through this website today. Tenura is being designed to filter for likely property relevance before analysing the information needed for a draft record. The exact Gmail and Microsoft scopes, filtering controls and retention approach will be published before early-access connections are enabled.

Can Tenura send, edit or delete emails?

The website demo cannot access any mailbox. Production connections are intended to be read-only and not request permission to send, edit or delete email. The final provider permission screens will be published before release so this can be checked directly.

Is every item Tenura finds automatically treated as correct?

No. Found information begins as detected or inferred. Important facts should be reviewed against their source before the landlord confirms them as part of the trusted record.

What if Tenura connects something to the wrong property?

Tenura is designed to suggest likely matches rather than silently merge uncertain records. The intended review controls include correcting the property, rejecting the suggestion and resolving possible duplicates.

Can I review the original email or document?

Source-linked records are central to the product design. The walkthrough shows the intended experience: open the supporting email or attachment, see the relevant excerpt and understand whether a value was stated directly or inferred.

Can I disconnect my inbox or delete imported information?

Disconnect and deletion controls are intended for early access, but their exact behaviour and retention timelines are not yet final. They will be documented before mailbox access is released.

Does Tenura guarantee that my portfolio is compliant?

No. Tenura can help organise available documents, dates and potential gaps. It does not provide legal, tax, financial or safety advice, and important records should be checked before action is taken.

Does Tenura store tenant or third-party information?

Property correspondence may contain information about tenants, guarantors, contractors and advisers. Tenura is being designed to minimise unnecessary personal information and retain only what is needed for the service. The final data model and retention rules require a founder and legal decision before early access.

Does my data train AI models?

No production AI provider or training policy has been announced. Tenura will publish the chosen processors, their retention terms and whether customer content can be used for model training before customer property data is processed.

Can I use Tenura without connecting my full inbox?

The planned import options include selected folders or labels, a date range, forwarded property email, document upload and starting manually. These are product directions, not features available through the public website today.

Is the website demo connected to a real mailbox?

No. It is an illustrative product walkthrough using fictional property data. Gmail and Outlook buttons demonstrate the intended onboarding flow and do not connect an account.

Which features are available now?

The public website, fictional interactive walkthrough and waiting list are live. Inbox reconstruction is in development. Mailbox connections, source-linked records and AI answers shown in the walkthrough are illustrative; ongoing monitoring is product direction.

What happens after the portfolio is created?

The inbox scan is intended to be the starting point. Tenura's product direction is to help landlords review upcoming dates, new documents, unresolved maintenance and record gaps over time. The monitoring features available at launch have not yet been finalised.

Tenura helps organise information and surface potential actions.

It does not provide legal, tax, financial or safety advice.
